I look forward to working with Bruce also.

Those are some good 60' times, you had to have some DR on? And was that at Atco?
Thank you. Yes, it was Atco running on Hoosier's.

So, you are saying that is light?

Lol...he is a true XL. My steering wheel still has the indentations from him gripping the wheel and I'm pretty sure he dented the floorboard under the gas pedal as well.

Yes, I tried MS109 and I leaned out enough that I didn't feel comfortable. We drained the tank and went back to 93. At this point I feel the best path is to go with the OE Tuning flash uploader. This way I can bring a few tunes with us and upload whatever the weather and fuel dictates.

I pulled of a 10.98 on my way to the grocery store tonight. Granted, I didn't have any way of knowing how far a quarter mile was.. and I was counting in my head: 1, 2, 3.... and right before I got to 11 I said: There ya go!!

No, not at all, just saying what the car weighs since I weighed mine recently and have the same car basically. I know the wheels I have aren't light and if mine with same options weighs 4180 with everything installed and the spare tire in the trunk you had to be a nice chunk less in your race trim. I can imagine you lost a minimum of 200lbs if not more in weight through taking the heavy front seats out in exchange for that racing seat, back half of exhaust gone and the light battery compared to the massive stock battery. And I will assume you didn't have a spare tire in the trunk since you did all the other weight savings. You could very well have been weighing 3900lbs. That still isn't "light" by any means but definitely better than a daily driver status E55. A big driver negates some of that weight savings though so it isn't as substantial as it could have been. Probably only ended up being little over 100lbs lighter than average with the 240lb driver in there.

Urbamworm, 100lbs net would be my guess too. My response to chawkins was in regards to him asking if it was gutted. This would be a matter of opinion, and I feel it wasn't. We removed/replaced four items: front seats, battery, and back half of exhaust. We also added a 4 gallon cooling tank.
Below are a couple of interior shots from Monday. It was pretty hysterical watching peoples expressions as they came over to check the 10 sec Mb only to find a pair a child seats out back.......WTF!!!

Did you have one of those little 8lb or 10lb whatever they are Braile batteries? The stock one must weight like 65lbs, that thing is huge.

Bk- Huge Congrads once again

I should've snatched that seat from you last year Looks good man

I have left you alone on the text messages since i can imagine how busy you are replying to the threads. Enjoy the moment and get ready to get back out there again...oh and don't forget to change your oil and spark plugs after such a rigorous day

I admire the way some have questioned the MODS/WEIGHT as usual, trying to take away from the facts! And wait until you go faster all the "N2O" will make act of presence. Gotta love the forums!!

Now go get you some skinnies or talk to Hagie about his idea

Please stop knocking on the guy. Let him enjoy his achievement.

You can have the "fastest street tire with pano roof in 90* weather" title.

I just like to know details because details matter, if they didn't then everyone would drive to the track like the car came off the lot. It is certainly awesome the car ran comfortably in the 10s at around 130mph but it was nice to know how it actually did it. Kinda gives you an idea what it takes if you wanted to try and do it or come close yourself. My car has a lot of mods and this one would rape me so I wanted to know how I could be faster by knowing the details of what the differences are. No need for sarcasm.

Love the Sparco seat BK, I would not mind running them full time in my rig it looks so good.

Did the on board computer freak out once the two fronts seats were pulled?

Again, big congrats brotha!

Impressive! Congrats on the great runs and having a heck of a rocket ship. Sounds like a lot of teamwork went into this, so kudos to that too!
