Missing my E55....

Ok, having withdrawls.

My E55 went into the body shop this past Wednesday, to finally get fixed!

But the car I have been driving just isn't the same....

How do you guys in the snowbelt lock away your cars for winter? I am missing the power of my E55, and its only been 2 days!

I've always made up for parking my toys in the winter by replacing it with a fun truck. AWD Trailblazer SS, or my Cummins Turbo Diesel pickup truck. Amazing what these diesel motors can do for small money.

Winter? What's that?

JK JK. I hope you get your car back ASAP so you can continue to enjoy the BEAST!

Here in Sacramento, winter doesn't really have any effect though, except for driving a convertible with top down.

I usually park the E55 since it struggles to get out of the driveway.

I'm forced to drive the 996TT through the winter. It's tough, but somehow I make it through.

I feel bad for you, however, you have the means.

Mines going in storage next month. I know what you mean...it's got me thinking about s/c'ing the truck.

Car free at the moment
Easy answer. I moved from Michigan to Texas!

OK, this predated my fascination with Kompressor engines, but the reasons are the same...

Mother Nature was too much for me up in Princeton, NJ. The Noreasters are bad enough, but then you add all of the road salt to the mix it spells disaster to any moving vehicle. So I moved down to Atlanta where the winters are short lived.
When it snows, Atl shuts down until it melts and then we are back in business.
You have it the best out in So Cal. Great weather all year.
Good Luck on your car.
