Beast and The Beast (pics inside)
Motorkas, Sunir, Yullie, myself and a few others, joined the 6Speed gang for an end of year meet.
Here's my crappy pics, and a short video of me against a 2011 Whippled Mustang GT 5.0.
You may remember the recent thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...benzorama.html. Anyway, I extended an invite for him to join us, and sure enough he did. Guy couldn't have been any nicer, and I kept my promise to his young son, to allow him to sit in the SL and snap some pics in the driver seat. I offered to let him fire it up, and rev it and play with the top and stuff, but his fathered declined that offer for him.
This quick run was after 3 hard pulls against Sunir's GT2, so I was soaked, but decided to run the Stang anyway.

Me and Sunir also had 3 quick blasts in his GT2 that I'm trying to get the video of. Sunir edged me out by a fender in round 1, as I was in the wrong gear. Round 2 I evened the score, as Sunir was in the wrong gear. And round 3 barely went to me, as Sunir had to hit the brakes so he didn't put his front bumper in the back of a Mini. At least, I think that's how those runs went. The video will tell all....
Here's the best pic, after Motorkas did some editing....
And a few of my crappy ones...

Here's the runs against Sunir's 911 GT2. They're numbered wrong, as 3 happened first, 2nd happened second, and 1st happened 3rd.

Sometimes it's the little things that you really appreciate. . .
I really want these CF wrapped exhausts - H-town AMG R/D group - you listening????
and these pedals. . .
Apparently - door jambs should be made out of CF. . .I totally agree. . .
and, supposedly so should wheels. . .I still totally agree. . .
and apparently Clayton and I like husky's. . .

Nah. Wll, I hope not. I pulled them off to clean them for the show. No chance that someone as smart as me, swapped them, right? Right? /facepalm.
Gonna make me go look now

I just wanted to extend my sincere appreciation to Clayton for his invitation to this end of year meet, Thanks Clayton! My son and I were in awe when we first arrived at Tubbys, seeing all these exotic cars sitting in the parking lot, but even more, once we arrived at the final location. The drive down to the park was great, unfortunately, I had my GoPro set to timelaps photos instead of video. Anyway, my son Thanks you too, for letting him sit in your car. He commented to me on how great the quality of MB interior is, yet alone, the whole car! Thanks again!

Embarrassing.
That probably explains why I was able to fishtail at 65 mph yesterday morning. Cold air, cold pavement, cold tires, and oh by the way, a retard driver who can't tell his left from right, explains it all.
Bleck.
