Racing a 335 JB4 On Sunday
Hey guys. I was just posting to let everyone know that I will be racing a 335 with downpipes, intercooler, Jb4 tune and dual intakes on Sunday morning. What kind of power do these things make? Should I be worried or will I take him easily?

Go to drag times and see what a 335 with those mods trap that will tell you how you may fair from a roll and also check the et and that will tell you how you will fair from a dig.

I ran a 12.3 at infineon. Thanks for the comments guys. I hope I win but my car is running rich right now so I have no idea what the turnout will be. He has a race fuel tune I think too.

Car should make around 385whp and run mid to low 12 @ 112.
If he has meth than he is making around 440whp and will trap 118
That was my previous car and I did love it.

Good luck. The one I having been running traps 125+ and stays door to door with me in roll runs.

335i's are severely underated but a lot of people are getting them...all of my car friends are 335i or 135i's
Until fuel issues are solved on the n54 platform they are maxed out around 500whp

Thanks for the comments guys. It seems that the N54 platform is very potent in terms of responding to mods. 385 whp in a sedan that weighs lighter than the E seems like a lethal weapon. I have confidence in my car though. I am not heat soaked or anything. Car is running the strongest its ever been. Wish me luck guys.

Cant remember the guys user name, but theres a guy that posts here that has had like three 335s.. All of them running like very low 11s.. These thinks are no joke for sure.. 500wph in that car would be very quick, especially awd from a dig.

Yes, that's HotRod. He's the guy I've been running against in the post above. His JB4 335i sedan traps 125!

Honestly though what made me get an e55 is the time I got walked by one a week after I set the n54 pump gas and street tire 1/8th record.
Like I said, I miss my 335I but I wanted a big comfortable fast sedan...granted...in warmer weather my 335I would destroy my E now...but in colder weather...it won't happen. I do miss 30+mpg highway though...
