Thanks alot for all the compliments guys! It was alot of work even though the car doesnt look that wild.

HERRAFRUSH YO!~! JK JK

Completely agree with you about the frustrations of not being able to run low offsets. I want my rear wheels to be MAD CONCAV3 YO!~!

I will send you some more tomorrow since you know how to post (btw, how u do that?).....I just got the wheels mounted like 3 hours ago, had to buy 5mm spacers for the front due to SL500 offset (wheel didn't clear caliper) and now it is like 3mm gap, YIKES! But it works....haha....

And I think with a lil fender work or 25 series tire will fit it just right.....

Its kinda a trade secret but its not film. I use this method to tone down the chrome. Its also on the tail lights but very lightly to tone down the red. PM me and I'll let you know.

...guess i didn't work using the insert button...<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/444/photo1yd.jpg/'><img src='http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/6711/photo1yd.jpg' border='0'/></a>

anyhow, i wanna say its 20x9F and 20x10.5R...idk offset, but it came off SL550, very similar offset to CLS...rear tires are 285 and stretched...

2009 W211 E350 AMG Sport PKG
Reviving this awesome thread. I have HRE's off of an SL and they sit exactly the same as your bro's 360 Forged.

After seeing that other W211 running 12.5 + flared fender...makes me wonder if I should just run the 11's and flare out the fenders. Input?

The $ I save on buying new rear tires & new lips + rechroming would probably amount to fender work no?

SICK 211's..

Although tons of room in the wheel well, and about 1.25" gap from spoke to the brake caliper... 20x11 could definitely work, but maybe a ET33? I know a member is running ET31 but looks like it would rub a lot...

305/25 tire... 20x11 ET28 (I think) sticks out about 1.5" ish

you're going to need to do some major flaring, but yes 11's are definitely doable go for it! If you are flaring it yourself make sure to keep heat on the paint at all time.

also, the 12.5 isn't just a "flared fender" there is major body work/custom widebody to make those work.

...exactly, much more to it than people think. You have to match the inner arch with the new outer arch for wheel clearance. Also have to match the rear bumper with the new "flared fender". A good body shop will use mostly sheet metal for the "fender flare" and fill in imperfections with filler. A bad body shop will use mostly bondo and add about 300 lbs to your car.
