I know this is an old thread but I have the same issue and finding the correct part number has been a challenge.
The correct part number is 211 501 0201
I am posting this to help others that may come across this thread when they need it.

did anyone find the lower oil cooler, ive tried 211 201 0201 and 201 511 0201 , A 211 501 0201 and no hits on oeparts, parts.com or autohauz. I need to replace mine due to a truck tire taking it out and need the small lower one that sits on the heat exchanger on the 05 w211's

But make note that it comes up as a part for: 2006-2011 Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG® (2115010201). For the E55/CLS55, I am under the impression that its an oil cooler...

so i ordered the part from mercedes and although its called a trans cooler, if u follow the lines it is for engine oil cooling, got it for around $370, instead of $500 or $550 if anyone is wondering or ordering this part
Hello everyone, I have one question for you about the oil cooler. Have any of you installed any other retrofit coolers instead of the standard coolers?
I had a broken engine that sent the metals flying around. And I'm afraid that a piece of metal has got into the oil cooler.
Thanks for the replies everyone

I know that their are larger oil coolers available for the M113K E55. And have read about E55 owners installing larger oil coolers. I would do a search.
