My 55 is just… slower than other ones
Now after driving other stock 55’s they are much much faster than mine was stock, they feel like how mine is now. Which is ridiculous because the modifications should make it way faster than any stock car.
I have replaced coil packs, plug wires, spark plugs, all fluids, basically any maintenance you can think of, I did it. My IATs stay relatively low, they dont go above 118. It is NOT heat soaked, the supercharger DOES ENGAGE. so I’m really angry. Could it be a low engine compression issue?? I really don’t know why my car is slower than other 55’s.
it is a 2003 model, build date is 12/02. Could that also be why?

I thought this was the case as well, I bought three different tunes from three different companies and they all yielded the exact same results. Also, when I was stock the car was a good bit slower compared to other stock cars. I did not know it at the time, I thought mine was running perfect because it never felt rough or anything

They go bad progressively over time, and register higher than actual intake air temps as they do, throwing off your tune in the process. Well worth replacing to be sure.
If it's good get a data logger. I am still baffled by how many guys just dont do it and have no idea whats going on with the engine.
When logged you can go in and SEE exactly what the ECU/ENGINE was doing and you can go from there.
