Either the SL in 600 or 65 flavor, or get the Jag XKR-S, which is my new favorite.....
I'm pleasantly surprised with my Caddy CTS NON-V swagger wagon. You'll like the interior..... Caddy stepped it up with this car..... But go look at the XKR-S, I bet you'll leave with it.

XKR-S is stunning, but can't get over a 30K premium for a body kit and suspension mods over a regular one. Briefly thought I could get away with a 2 seater, but thats not really going to be practical so SL is probably out. Given my propensity to mod cars to within an inch of their lives, it's more than lively going to be a CTS-V. Should be able to get a 2010+ V do an upper/lower pulley combo/intake/injectors/headers/cam and have a 10 sec car all for less than 60K car included. Tough to argue with that..

The V interior, especially with the Recaro seat option is very nice. Coworker went from a C6 Z06 to the CTS-V coupe, and says that the V is better in EVERY SINGLE WAY.

thats for damn sure, along with the non track prep. Its more for fun then anything else...hence the road tuning lol.
I think at best we were running what mid to high 11's?
The goal will be to get more the the m cars on the track!

Was hoping to meet Clayton, Craig, BIP crew and others that I've chatted with on here, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
Steve, be safe on your trip up. Take some good video this time.
Cheers,

You will be surprised how little the "MB vs BMW" cliche is not evident at the track durin the Fest. Most of the time guys are just running against their friends for fun. I don't remember any "serious" races from last year. The track is just not good enough to get good times. It is the only track in the area we can use though due to the sub 12 sec cars attending. If we went anywhere else, they wouldn't be able to run due to National Trails following strict rules. Marion lets us do what ever we want.
