an oem one would looks nice and it could easily be done but Im not sure how much room you got for one.

you could put it where tbal put his but you would loose the cabin filter.
skratch, i'm thinking of separating my system with the 7 series tank... do u think it's worth it with just the factory h/e? did you end up taking urs back off? did you sell it?

I actually thought about cutting the hood haha.

few more pics of my mini heatexchanger,I know it wont do much for cooling but its mostly for adding more volume to the spilt system.

Mini heat-exchanger is also a radiator for a water-cooling cpu system.

Break Horsepower record - Then overclock your CPU

WIN WIN

This place is a joke.
I have been thinking about a way to split my system, at minimal cost, and not loosing any trunk space or the cabin filter...Looking at my car up on the lift, there is a huge area behind the rear bumper...I was thinking instead of a tank back there, why not another heat exchanger....instead of a tank the heat exchanger back there would get some airflow, and coupled with the lines running to the front the volume should be about right....I would make the lines aluminium with hoses just for the connections, using the aluminium lines as yet another heatsink to cool the fluid..And also I can add another stock pump back there and power it from the rear SAM (fusebox) just like the front pump...Put a resevoir higher up under the hood for filing and bleeding...any reason this wouldn't work? Another idea is making a tank for inside the drivers front fender, and just relocating the alarm siren...Any thoughts? One of my goals is to go faster while looking stock outside and under the hood....

Sorry guys I never really went 100% with this and have my car listed for sale when I gave up.

I installed the heat exchanger in my computer and running 2 blocks with a 300 watt pelt in between the loop.

What size tires are on the rear? They look huge! Is it mini-tubbed? Wheel size and offset?
