Where is everyone buying their E55's? I went to autotrader and there were quite a few for sale in the states for sale.

Seems like the search engine is pretty good. Just waiting for the DW to give the go ahead. I have a feeling that as we reach winter months there will be more available. My buddy who owns a MB ind. shop here in town has one that he sold 2 years ago that might be coming back... but it has about 125k miles on it.

I'm currently looking and may be wrapping up a purchase.
I crawled all that fit my criteria on eBay and AutoTrader.com, then checked cars.com.
All that I found on cars.com were already seen among the many more on AutoTrader.com.

Re: buying from the forums.... I kinda got that feeling. If someone is going to post on here and then attempt to sell their car you have a pretty good shot of finding something that has work done and has been well taken care of. Just have to find the right opportunity.
There was one that sold a month or 2 ago on here that looked phenom. Had the perfect mods on it and almost all the heavy work had been done in the last 1-2 years. Had 90k miles but was around 18k.
Timing is everything.
