Merry Christmas.

Picking up a used E63 Friday. Instead of shipping, wife and I are driving it home over the course of a week. Being new here, do you guys encourage pics/input of such endeavors?

Looking forward to reading this board, learning more about the E63, and talking to the members.

I have love for black for sure, 90% of all cars I owned were black. But there is a white E63 in the NY area I have my eye on, unless he picked it up before me.

Will take photos. Pretty psyched. Except for the good chance at having to drive through snow. Until we leave on Thursday, here is what I have to drive. You guys that prefer black, should like.

Arrived on east coast tonight. Rented car. Drive one hour tomorrow (Fri) to see/drive car. Complete transaction. Start the drive home.

Brought camera and laptop. Photos will be uploaded tomorrow pm.

Car PPI'd, carfaxed, etc etc etc this past week, all good....Just need to see, hear, drive, and purchase.

Totally bummed. Car not as advertised. After the third non disclosed item revealed, and after cashiers check handed over, deal terminated. Now, fly home. Sorry guys.

What specifically happened with the car? What sort of "undisclosed" items did you find? Accident damage? Body in trunk? Too many panties cluttering up the interior? j/k

Sorry to hear this! Perhaps it's a blessing in disquise? Sometimes bad things happen for a good reason are still plenty of E63's out there!

Good luck in your search and feel free to ping the members for thoughts/opinions before you pull the trigger. (I did this with my E55 purchase), TONS os superb MB knowlege on this forum. Just posting here makes me feel smarter.
