I just got it and 2 days later I heard a noise from the compressor. It was a pulley making a sound. I'm not sure what's the proper name for this pulley, but my mechanic told me that this pulley isn't sold by itself. Either it goes with a kit which is 1500$, or I can buy a used compressor for around 1000$. Not sure whether he is lying or not.
He also told me that it needs a transmission tune up (200$)...
BRAKE sensor is ON but my brakes are still good. That to fix is around 300$.
Need ru help guys, can't trust no one these days...

--Most likely the SC bearing is bad, here is the new bearing you can have pressed in Nachi Supercharger Bearing 45BG07S5AIG-2DL ~$80 (or cheaper) online

Or you can use this as an excuse to upgrade to a smaller SC pulley

Or it could be the tensioner pulley and/or bearing going bad. You can replace the tensioner

Or use this as an excuse to upgrade to a 3,4, or 5pc ASP pulley set from Shardul for not much more than the OEM tensioner would cost you.

This is probably a transmission filter and fluid replacement. The price does not seem that bad.

The car has one brake wear sensor on the front and one on the rear brakes. Either your sensor(s) need to be replaced

or it could be a brake pedal switch gone bad (common on W211 Mercedes)

Hopefully this makes you feel better, most things can be fixed on these cars for a reasonable amount and you can save even more if you are willing to turn a few wrenches.

Here is a good thread to peruse. https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ne-thread.html

05 e55 amg
Only issues you have to worry about is the suspension only down side about these cars. If you fix this issue like I did and manny others did with coil over conversion or arnot air suspension then your good. I personally went with coilover conversion so I don't ever have to worry about air suspension again. I drove the m5 before I bought this car and audi s5 they don't compare to this car. M5 smg issues ! Good luck finding a m5 in manual they are hard to find. Buy a e55 from the forums someone that has records and has a passion for a e55. There's a lot of good cars some of the fourm members are selling. Check it out and good luck with the buy.
