Yes it's an auto. He said he did the intake last night and was wanting a base line to work off of. His plans were to do the exhaust, pulleys, and tune and nothing more. he was a very cool dude. And the interior was really nice. And Damn, you had to see the paint in person, because that grey was pretty dark in the shade. But in the light you could see ALL the flake in it. It was pretty sweet.

i was a **** hairs away from buying a black diamond edition with the recaro interior . interior was sick but the seats felt very race car like . for a guy 250 lbs its a lil tight but inside was nice .

Crazy awesome car.....but still not a Mercedes. I'm sorry but even though the interior is nice it just doesn't cut it like a Merc and the exterior too. Don't get me wrong it's gorgeous but it doesn't have that "premium look". Great car none-the-less and what awesome power especially from just an intake....nice brake calipers too

I like everything about the CTS-V... great power, handling, brakes, exterior is OK, interior a bit overdone... but a great cal.
But I can't see spending $40K to $50k on a used model.. knowing that I can get a used E550 4.6tt in AWD next year for about the same price or even the lighter E550 4.6TT coupe (3800lbs and RWD).
or a BWM 550 4.4TT used.
Just a simple 91 octane tune will be at 450RWHP+ depends what dyno you use... and simple exhaust, intake and 100oct will get close to 500RWHP.
I want a comfortable ride with nice power and nothing too polarizing. The CTS-V usually does that and same for AMG and M cars.
Unless my income doubles in next few years.. I won't be driving another AMG for a while..
4.6TT or 4.4TT engines are more than enough and MPG is added bonus.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Even if 1000hp, I would never drive a Caddi. Rather have a Kia. Have my own reasons. But I do like the 2 door look.

Nope, you could not be further from the truth. I just do not believe in rewarding failure. The new GT500 with 650hp is tempting and the wife and I are searching-still-for a old Camaro RS to restore.
