Hmm have you seen SGC's CL65? World record 1/4 @ 10.2x is knocking on 9.9x's door ALL it needs is some Atco-MIR crazzy NEGATIVE-1000-2000 DA This record was run in April heat Florida, Not Winter time by any means NOR fantastic DA etc..

Juiceee never ran 1.47 60' that's absolutely impossible w/the power level of the N/A cls63 Check out some of the online Dragracing calculators or and compare ALL the extemely HIGH trap speeds etc that Sacramento track coughs up, plenty of folks have admitted Sacramento's data esp Traps were totally off IE by up to 5-6 mph & later Track reported some of the Timing lights were improperly set/etc...

He'd need 660-700 RWHP NOT crank HP, & or 3800 stall converter, or change final drive ratio (gearing) to 4:11's & or modded to ALL wheel drive I believe his highest RWHP Dyno's showed @ best 440-RWHP..

http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...lip-14621.html
EDIT: I looked it up on Dragtimes weight w/driver 4450 lbs & 420 rwhp, on run in link near identical 1/4 ET but 60' 1.87 that makes much, much more sense.. Not trying to put you on BLAST Juicee, but that 60' in ur siggy is obviously an error from improper track lights, IE all your other 60's @ comparable ET's & Traps are ALL 1.80-1.9x

http://www.wallaceracing.com/calc60hp.php Calculator-Enter vehicle curb weight inc driver, & 60' ran. It'll then convert it to how much REAR WHEEL HP you'd need
to achieve that particular 60' (obviously not EXACT science but VERY fair/true estimate)

Guaranteed you will see an E63/CLS63 in the 9s by the end of the year. With Renntech and now AMS all over the 5.5 TTs, they are going to putting down some crazy numbers

The Renntech CLS already ripped off a 10.98 @ almost 130

For a 4200 lb (being conservative as juice weighs 200+lbs so incl all weight reduction 4200 lb race weight is more than fair)

I agree. I've cut 1.40 60ft times before and there's no way a CLS63 did. That was launching A stick car on slicks at 5700 rpm and side stepping the clutch. I don't even think if he staged with the rear tires you would get a 1.47 60ft

Yup... Also since he has so many other track slips on Dragtimes that compare perfectly in ALL rest of splits, if he indeed ran 1.47 60' his ET would've dropped dramatically, so from 1.87 60' to 1.47 would turn his 12.0x ET into a 10.2x-10.3x ET 4 tenths improvement on 60' = 8 tenths in1/4 ET..

IDK Though that's where I plan on running my SL soon... I think the track owners reported fixing faulty timing equipment, though recent data still shows Sac Traps higher than national averages.

So Cal guys NEVER see negative- 1000-2000 DA @ Sea Level, like the Eastcoast wonder tracks MIR/ATCO/etc They also have phenominal track prep vs tracks like Sacramento, plenty of peeps smack wall @ 1/8th... Maybe the F'd up timing equipment is the ONLY way we So Cal'ies can get comparable ET's to Eastcoast

Well I stand corrected Though it's a rarity vs your neck of the woods.. & Traction/Prep is for shi!t I'll def give Sacramento, a go. The ONLY place I've ran before was Arizona, w/my C6 Vette 1500+ DA krapola...

Don't forget about Famoso.... last month there was a mini private rental and DA was at -560 ft and track prep was great. It's all about good timing.... Fall and Winter will usually be your best bet at decent conditions in So Cal.

Loll nice resolution. Yea I bought one in late 2010 and it blew up shortly after. I'm not modding it again. Going to put the clk in the 9s. Although I think Weistec will get a E55 into the 9s

Damn! Sorry I had no idea it popped... I'm certain ur CLK has a lot more in it if you upgrade to some stronger custom halfshafts, & buy a Carbon Fiber Drive shaft (I've ordered 1) it not only takes more punishment but they state it dramatically reduces stress on ALL other driveline components as it actually flexes vs steel that either breaks & becomes pole-vault jousting thru ur floorboardor custom pretzle machine like Jody

Few other +'s from CF shaft (tho I'm sure you already kno this stuf)
Weight is less than half Steel or Chromolly, IE my quote is 6-8 lbs vs 18 lbs
Allows your rpm's to spin far faster & higher
Documented to knock 2 tenths off 60'
Not to mention more Unsprung weight loss & drivetrain HP/TQ loss minimized

Yup it had full bolt ons and then some. Oh well, live and learn. Yea I agree about axles and cf driveshaft. They are in progress. Along with a bunch more power. I have some lofty goals for 2012. Damn, 0.2s off 60'??? Wow I didn't expect that much, although I'm confident I will get a bit more if I'm able to launch off the stall finally

So where is the mod list on this SLR? Cutting half a second off a 1/4 mile is very hard to do at those speeds without cutting alot of weight or adding alot of power. I know white is the fastest color but I dont think it's worth half a second

I would like to see the mod list myself. What do you think it has done to get that half a second off?

I don't want to speculate, I will just wait for them to say (if they ever do and hopefully they say all the mods). I mean Renntech already modded the SLR, it would take alot to then cut 0.5s off?

I'll say it.. Look closely @ rear wheel setup?? They are NOT thick drag radials, the actual wheels look like 19-20"s tho it cuts a 1.42 60' hmmmm IDK if it's camera angle or what but WTH is it running on rear? & sounds like running cutouts, though the stock manifolds/exhaust dump so close to front fenders stock maybe just LT's

Post #23 from the owners mouth himself. The exhaust was changed. Also cf body kit and 50k suspension

Oh and they ran without a trunk

More mods coming!
