Wow, how scary is that a storm can hit that quick and accumulate that much water. I only remember Houston as the hottest place on the planet in the summer. Played in a tennis tournament down at Liberty Park and it was so freaking hot I couldn't even hold on to my racket I was sweating so much !!! I am thinking that rain might be heading toward's Atlanta as we have 100% of the stuff tomorrow night. Good Luck on your car.

I think your car will be fine shardul, it didnt look like it got too high. There was a tornado that day as well! Friend of mine's GL450 sucked up water in the intake after being splashed by an 18-wheeler and his engine is toast.
Its not even the rain most of the time, its the drainages that get backed up because of leaves and twigs. My Maxima has been fooded TWICE already, still ok though:
