I used to be able to recommend benzel busch, but I have not been terribly pleased since my service advisor left and they tranisitioned to a new building.

Also hate prestige.

Globe is ok, but I've heard good things about ray catena.

Well I'll tell you this - don't bother. My 55 is there now and having such an issue with the SA. I have a chrysler service contract and the guy cannot figure out how to file a proper claim to have the work performed. Complete mess. Car has been there 3 days with no work done whatsoever.

Don't go to any of them honestly. I had warranty on my CLS55 and went to Prestiage to pick up some parts and SA came out like your car under warranty? I am like yeah? He is like you know putting an aftermarket exhaust voids it right? I am like I bought it like that (even though I didn't). Few days later, I get a mail from MBUSA saying my car is flagged to be out of warranty. I fought with them so I got it back. If do don't have warranty, don't bother with dealerships, just go to my shop in Passaic, NJ called Broadway Performance

Yes. Took two days of calling between me, him and chrysler service contracts to figure it out. At first he tried to tell me that CSC was not covering the entire cost because they were using "gas station" labor pricing and that "this is a mercedes dealer" and "these warranties don't cover everything"

As we all know the CSC does cover nearly everything and has no problem paying MB's labor rates. But even an idiotic SA can screw up the claim if they don't give a precise breakdown of the costs of parts/labor for each item to be repaired.

Update on this - after 16 days finally got the car back. Airmatic strut repaired as well as fuel senders. Total repair time was 2 days. They started work 8/27 - with 14 days spent going back and forth with the SA over whether the repairs would be covered by the CSC (they were covered). SA claimed to have been unable to locate the part but after speaking to the manager of the service dept the strut was located the next day. Dealer effectivley held the car hostage with high diagnostic charges if the repairs were not completed at the dealer.

Hopefully my experience helps you NY/North Jersey guys decide where to take or not take their cars.

I did speak to John @ Broadway Performance - friendly guy. I'll just take the car there next time!
