Will Toadster ever buy an E55/E63?

Bought my M3 sight unseen, bought my A4 Avant sight unseen, will probably buy my E55 sight unseen.
Do actual research, and don't ask opinions. I will have full service history of the car I buy before I leave a deposit. Will fly to where ever the car is, and drive it back to Boston(hopefully not too far)

It's not that many of us make a significant more amount of money than you....well maybe some do, but that's probably not the reason. I do ok financially, but we're not rich by any means. If I were rich, I wouldn't have mortgage. We keep the lights and heat on, but I'm not living the baller lifestyle as many on here do. But, for me personally, the only cars I ever purchase, are only a couple years old, with low mileage. I pay extra for that, but I'm normally assured of a clean example that's still under factory warranty. So really, as long as the car is cosmetically sound, there's not much of a risk. I mean, sure, the seller could lie about brakes and tires, but anything that's not a normal wear item would be covered under the factory warranty.
My E500 I purchased 2 years old with 27K miles....
My R500 I purchased 1 year old with 4K miles...
My Range Rover I purchased 3 years old with 27K miles....
My SL600 I purchased 4 years old with 11K miles, and it already had an extended warranty until 10/2013 or 82K miles, which ever comes first.
My Caddy CTS Swaggerwagon, I just purchased. It's a 2010 with 27K miles, and I purchased a full GM 100K mile bumper to bumper on top. That was a local car, as 3.6L AWD wagons are rare.
But ask emoving, I've had him help me with my last 2 cars in 1 way or another. Had he been able to locate exactly what I (or my wife really) wanted, I'd have pulled the trigger on his word that it was a clean car.
But purchasing a high mile, 5-6 year old e55, with the maintenance costs associated with these vehicles, probably just isn't something I'd ever do.

I really am going back and forth, this time last year I was dead set on an E cause I didn't want to spend CLS money. This year the CLS is in the Price range I want to spend but after looking at the E55 market on Autotrader I can get so much more car for the money. Last week when I looked there were several E55s on autotrader in the 30-45k mile club. I really am thinking a low mileage E might be better than a mid 50k mileage CLS55.
I'm also trying to decide what look I want more once the visual mods are completed. Considering performance is the same between the two cars it comes down to what look I like better. When I modded my M3 I went through 3 visual changes before I had what I wanted... I don't want to do that again

Although I didn't get the color I wanted, the mileage was huge. Mine had 39,000 when I picked it up. Go for the E and soon already

If I go with a CLS I will order Vossen CV3s and lower it.
If I buy an E... 63 front end, lip, 3 blade diffuser, lower it, and not sure about wheels...
Both will get yellow calipers, ss lines, secondary cat delete, resonator delete and X-pipe, oe tune, 168/175 pulley, heat exchanger and Johnson pump

I would not actually hand over any money for any car without seeing it in person first. My last car I flew to Columbus and drove back to Phoenix, but had two separate inspections done on the car, carfax, master history from Mercedes, and a tone of pictures. Definitely look on the classifieds because I always see a ton of e55's for sale.

$42k a year and you drive an E55 You must live in that E55...
I make a little over $70k/yr and there is no way I could afford an E55 right now. The payment, gas, insurance, and mods would have me eating top ramen every night and sleeping in a cardboard box...

My E55 search went like this.
Phone call to marcus (e-moving), return call, purchase. Site unseen but I had all the trust in him. He is a truly stand up guy and I knew that if anything was wrong with the car he wouldn't accept it upon delivery.
