can we add a rule to the Classifieds section?
maybe have the capability to set the thread to SOLD when it's gone?
it's tiring to dig through old posts only to find that they're SOLD, or just abandoned threads...
maybe a 30-day lifespan on the posts?

do a search for "2006 E55" and you'll find probably over half the page is either abandoned, old, or SOLD vehicles
if it's easier to find one for sale, I could possibly join the ranks

If a thread hasn't had a post in more than a week or two, its fairly safe to assume it was sold/traded in etc. Send a PM if you are really serious and maybe you'll get lucky but I wouldn't bump up an old thread or anything.

As staff we've noticed that some items take a long time to sell - i.e. relisted after a year, that some members don't close their FS threads, that some members,
mostly, list their FS numerous times instead of updating, etc.
You can't please everybody; some will play nicely, other could care less.
