Smaller S/C Pulley / Clutch assembly - Dyno Numbers, 1/4 mile ET, Video

Last week I was fortunate enough to install a protype smaller s/c clutch assembly on my car. I drove the car for a week checking my boost daily. I saw a 1.5 to 2 psi increase. This is pulley and clutch assembly is 1lbs lighter than the stock assembly made by UPD. Keep in mind my car is stock with the exception of a heat exchanger, pump and secondary/resonator delete. Jerry from Eurocharged was kind enough to tune the car yesterday before I took it to the 1/4 track.

Here is the dyno sheet

Here is the 1/4 mile time

Here is the video

Were you on regular street tires or have drag radials?

Edit: nevermind, remembered from the other thread that someone picked up drag radials and a spare set of stock wheels so went back and looked and it was you.

Get some headers on that baby and really get her ripping!

So how big is the pulley? I'm thinking when I finally get my car I'm going to go with a smaller pulley and what looks to be your list of mods

So would a smaller s/c pulley and larger crank pulley be too much boost or what?

Very nice!

Do you have the belt wrap kit installed?

Is the clutch engagement smooth?

depends on what size crank pulley you have. i think 175 or 180 would be optimal. from what i understand Kauve is see about 12 to 13 psi of boost with a stock crank pulley.

That question has variables, there are different sizes of crank pulleys. Running a 168 crank pulley and this supercharger pulley isn't gonna make you boost any higher than the guys running 185, 190, 195 crank pulleys and the big pulley guys would be putting out more boost.

I would love to see this on car with a 185 or 190 pulley pushing lets say 15lbs of boost, so in theory what would the boost be now?

Been waiting for a while to see this. Hopefully production starts soon!

How does it drive around town? Noticeable power increase? What are your driving impressions thus far?

I do not have a belt wrap kit.

The clutch engagement is extremely smooth! The throttle response is great you instantly feel the boost!

Just went for a ride with Kevin. The car feels nice and pulls harder than my car did with my first 180mm and tune when I ran 11.87. Nice run Kevin.
