oops , cant edit the title *Renntech*
Off due to mlk today. Was going to get headers installed but no go, due to timing. Called BE and had opening for Renntech pulley install only. Eddie did the install and during the install saw oil leak from valve cover ps, which mb Arlington did last march. So taking it back under 1yr warranty to fix. Wish mb Arlington would give me $$$ so BE can do it right !! Also seepage from rear main w 63k miles on the clock. Said wasn't bad at all none on the skid plate
After pulley install, Eddie took it out for spin to test. Only had K*Ns and OE box tune before installHe said car really pulls down low and wants to pull more. Def butt dyno could feel the difference. Next headers and tune it. Then ec heat exchanger from group buy.
Great shop and cool owners. Met Emile a bit later and just as others mentioned, good, nice people to have work on my cars.
Asked them to take look at rear end repair and said body shop did a good job. Couldnt tell that it was hit until I told them.
Ended up doing oil change as well since 5-6k miles since last one. looks like a shop I will be going to for big jobs I can't due like rear main.

Eddie and Emile are both good people. I just moved to Central VA and am going to miss those guys.
I just had a brake flush done by European Cars of Williamsburg. Gus seems like a knowledgeable person. I hope that I receive the same attention here.

BE has been working on my father CL55 AMG for years. I tend to do a lot of minor things myself but will most likely be going to them when I start modding. I was really scared to work on these cars until me and a buddy did my valve covers a couple weeks ago. When you get all the cover and fancy crap off it is just a V8

Mihn, nice to hear that your car is moving into the right direction!

Benz Elite Automotive does great work....hats off to Eddie, Emile and the rest of the crew.

yes i agree. Getting rear ended and $4900 total bill was not fun at all. Car has been violated and not the same. Originally Posted by Karlson

Want a great story....
Car was acting up last week, seemed to be the dreaded CPS.
Headed to Benz Elite thinking I was leaving in a ford festiva for the day. Emile says, come on man, give me a bit and I'll swap it right out for you. Less than an hour later I was back on the road.
Oh and by the way he noticed I scuffed the bumper in a parking garage mishap. He grabs some bug and tar remover and proceeds to muscle out the color from the pole with a cloth. Very nice gesture! Still has scrapes but MUCH less noticeable.
I probably have at least three other stories like this since BT turned me onto them three years ago.
She goes back tomorrow for the main seal. Like the op it wasn't too bad last month, now it is bleeding like a freshmen girl on prom night.

ExploreI'm guessing there is more oil on the ground that its getting worse? or is the computer saying add more oil?? Hope mine wont be getting worse any time soon....Hate to see finally getting mods put on and then have to do this rear main seal. Trying to stagger costs each month:-)

Man your logic sounds familiar...lol.
No puddle, no light. Just lots of oil leaking and spraying under the car.
Really unnoticeable until the car is in the air.
When he removed the CPS it was saturated in oil...which means it is leaking good, hitting the flywheel and spraying everywhere.
Two months ago it was barely noticeable...since that oil change I have had to add two quarts.
Btw,now that the boost is a few psi higher, it will be more likely to leak more.
Hate to say it but...it should def be the very next thing you do.
Eddie did tell me you were there last week for a CPS and got that done. His has seepage too. So will see how bad it is between Monday and next time im there and its up on the lift. Yes this will be the next thing i do after the headers/tune in the next week or so. I can wait on HE/pump and focus on the rear main. Good thing its tax time and i get a return!(hopefully)
