take a gates belt and cut it,run a piece around the pulley like it would ride being on the car. Then cut a bigger piece and glue it on top of the other belt.
You could prolly do this with the stock pulley on the car.
make sure its lined up right and get some serious bonding glue and you have a bigger diameter pulley.
the glue I used is so strong that I dont even think I can get this belt off this pulley.

Come on angelo, this is a joke right? No way the SC belt will track on that. There is no tapered grooves and nothing to keep it from flying off the front. That looks like it will throw the belt first time it starts!

I am using 2 different belts, the belt that will go on the car has smaller sharper groves and fits in really snug to the hd belt I used to make the crank pulley bigger.
I have been running a 6 rib belt on my car that dosnt even touch the outer side that has the lip that keeps the belt on track. If that belt stayed on I see no reason why it wont stay on with this new pulley.
guys it fits into the grooves deeper than a stock setup and worst case I can put a ring around the edge if the belt comes off.I dont think it will since its not from running on my car now,its so tight that the super charger engagment litterly feels like the engine stops for a second it hits so hard.

This hack job wont last 5mins at idle IMO. for giggles, what bonding glue did you use scratch? guys I dont want to sound bias here, so I'm gonna run this idea @ ASP and hope they don't slam the phone down on me.

Iv had a 175,172,180 and a 168 pulley.Im trying a different boost pulley without spending much.
If Im happy with how the car feels I will have my machine shop make me a 165 ring to put on it.

I give u props for being frugal, but there are limits to what u can do w/ out spending $$.
And yes It will work if you don't start the car...but I tell you what, put up a video of this rubber pulley working and reving @ 6400rpm..then we can talk.

I forgot if your car has engine cover on the front Ang. If so, pop it off for the test drive as the belt can really cause hell if she does fly off at top RPM.
When I got that bum ASP pulley back in the day, my belts would come off and shred destroying my engine cover in the front and taking out my plastic hood shroud in the process. A fun couple parts you get raped on at the stealer.
Just be careful and try it out. Not gonna blow the engine or anything. Worry bout the glue at high heat and rpm but worth a shot brotha.
