E63 stock front ride height?

E63 stock front ride height?
Hi,
I took my E63 w/P30 in for Service D and though everything was fine, I noticed my front is sitting a little bit higher than what I "remembered" to be. The rear seems fine. I saw another thread on the E55 and stock heights of 26.25" (F) and 26.0" (R) were posted (from the ground up to the fender).
Everything on my car is stock and my measurements were 26.75” (F) and 26.25” (R). Can someone check what their heights are? Is there a “service mode” where the car is raised during service? I have a W210 E430 Sport and the fronts were also 26.75”. I would think the E63 would be a bit lower. Thanks.

There is a ride height button that bumps the suspension up so you can clear snow and curbs and such. It's the button on the right at the bottom of your shifter console. The center button is for suspension program (comfort, sport and sport+) and the right button turns off the Parktronic if you have it. Check this leftmost button and see if it's red or not. I thought it supposed to turn off once you get to speed though.

It wouldnt have been raised for service other than the button being pushed, and that isn't a "must" to get it on the lift, there is plenty of clearance either way. You can push the button to raise, and then again to lower it back to the calibrated level.

Since service "D" just means 4 hours, I have no idea what you had done.
If you got an alightment, then it is possible they tweaked the ride height to factory specifications in order to set the proper geometry on the suspension.
If an alignment was done, and you feel it is incorrect, go back and ask the, to check it.

No alignment or anything else was done on the car. The height adjustment button was not pushed so the car is at its normal height. I did push the button to raise and lower the car and the Airmatic seems to be working fine. It just seems the front should be lower by 1/4" or so.

Since you got a P30 as well, can I trouble you to take a measurement on your fronts? I kind of want to establish some baseline for future reference. Thanks.

Talked to the SA and he said nothing was done to the Airmatic settings. Told me to drive for couple days and bring it back if I still feel the ride height is not correct. Did ask if there was some threshold for the ride height like what you see for wheel alignment.
I drove in Sport 1 today and felt like this is the height that I was used to before the service.
Does anyone know if there is a ride height difference between cars w/wo P30? I'm guessing somehow the default settings was changed and it added about 1/4" or so.

See PM, but no, there is no ride height difference for a P30.
Also see your owners manual around page 264. If you do not have one you can get it from mbusa, owners online.

i am concerned about my ride height too. After reading your post, i took some measurements and the readings were 24.75'' all 4 corners without pushing the raise button. The height increases 1'' when I raised it. No significant diffferences between Sport1, Spirt 2, or Comfort. The car looks nicer and handle very well on the curly ramp at high speed. Because the front bumper is too low, I have to drive very slow up the drive way. I thought my car is stock but I guess its not. I am not sure if I want stock it back or keeping this low setting.
