185 pulley with stock fuel system
When will this board wake up and figure out that even a stock pulley car can blow up if it was not tuned well.
There is user error at fault for engines blowing up also.Like if you have junk plugs and wires, dead pump ect.
I know a K4 car built up and down with all of Kleemanns k4 parts and it had a 168 pulley and blew up.
We went to the track in an 85 deg day and pretty much had the track to our selves and we made 3 back to back passes and he was only trapping 115 and I was at 117 and he was pissed.
I only did 2 pulls becasue I knew it was bad and the car was super heat soaked to the point that you couldnt even touch the blower for a half second.
I went over and scanned the kids car and his AITs were 187D idle and my car was 130 ish and told him his pump is dead and to STOP tracking it and to fix the pump.
He did 4 or 5 back to back passes and I scanned his car and the temps were over 200 like 210 or something crazzy, the car had no codes and drove fine and idled fine and I told him to change the pump asap.I even set him up with my shop to do it for basically 50 bucks labor and he didnt install a new pump and kept on beating on it.
well 2 weeks later he texts me and say the car is shaking bad and is throwing a check engine and admited to racing all night the night before.I told him GOOD ****ing job you just blew up your engine and your a dumb *** for not changing the pump.
I was suprised the car lasted as long as it did to be honest lol.
Just because you have a oem pulley thats 168mm that was from kleemann does not mean you have a k2 car.
fyi my pulley looks exaclty like a renntech and kleemann style pulley and is 178mm and has nothing to do with kleemann or renntech,my headers and tuning DO.

Its cool I guess Im at a K6 now since I have all the k4 **** pluss renntech airbox on top

PS keep telling yourself you have a k2 car with another file on it bro,Im not hating but are you that thick headed?
The thing about the larger pullies is the torque is way more than say a 168, so street dailey driving the car is definately faster with a 185mm. However at the track, you come out the hole great, and everything is golden till about half track where it falls on its face a bit. Without keeping the IAT's under 145 its gonna be a dog up top, so you need an Ice tank or active cooling like a killer chiller.
Not thick headed you hater. Go email Cory and tell him he gave customer wrong information.
Hey how's the glue holding up on your budget $25 pulley bahaha
You think I can make PVC headers?

i data logged and reported results years ago from my dual oversized remote mounted h/e set-up and concluded that it was a waste of money to go any more than a moderately oversized h/e or a small piggy back system (like evosport's) because of the severely limited ability of our small oem i/c core.
the stuf I have is called plastic welder and is by far the strongest epoxy out there.
you should see my plastic cams Im making
