E63 Front Bumper Conversion
E63 Front Bumper Conversion
90% Done, waiting on the fog light shrouds, and ceter grill. Other than that shes all good to go...
New look, no more black wheels...new wheels going on soon, cant wait!
(On the side note, god damn cops, towed my car because I had a repair man plate, and $327 in misc fs fines... in other words straight hating, one of the 3 cops was like damn, nice car haha. Even though I had full consent, and rightful ownership of the plates, jeez...

conversion looks amazing so far. where did you buy the parts from if you don't mind me asking? I am trying to price out the conversion for myself at the moment, but the lowest my body shop could find for the parts were $4200.

2006 CLS55 AMG Sold 2010 E550 Coupe totaled by mechanic, '13 SL550 I totaled it, 2017 SL63 current
63 front is so much better than the 55...looks great. If you haven't already, you should get the 63 tail lights too.
Promise I'll get better pix once the front grilles, and rims are on
Defiantly a much better look than the 55s OE bumper...If I find a good deal on the headlights, tail lights I will probably swap those out as well...
As for cost... Bumper itself, including fixing, paint etc ran about 1g.
All the other parts, upper grill, lower grills, misc parts n so forth about $900ish... All parts from parts.com (best prices, after comparing 6 others)... Upper grill I got from ebay (used), lower grilles I was having a problem with the vendor Rayco, but he HAS finally sent me the set, and should be here soon... Sidemarkers, and foglights (DEPO) are from ebay as well...
I did 95% of the install myself at my friends bodyshop (with the help of my cousin who held the bumper in place LOL), the hardest part is getting the side mounting brackets to hold the bumper to the fenders... I needed a pro's help for that lol.
At the same time I also added 6000k h7 hid kit for the fogs, to match the headlights. (Also 6000k) (hidextra.com)
If I have any suggestions, it would be KEEP ALL the stock hardware (nuts n bolts etc) my dumbass gave it to the guy who bought my bumper... Its not that the nuts n bolts are expensive... I had biatch of a time finding them! Mercedes parts locally was going to order them from EAST, but thanks to the help of the bodyshop they found me close enough fits...

Pretty much all the parts you need, with the exception of few nuts n bolts, side mounting brackets.
