so - back on topic, since I need new tires
these are the OEM 18" rims - what is the max size I can put on to get the most traction/stopping power?
OEM is
245/40-18 front (not really a replacement size other than this)
and
265/35-18 rear - can go to a 275/35-18 but Speedometer Difference: 1.069% too slow
what's everyone running?
it seems pretty obvious that the Michelins are so popular, as you're getting 1-1.3" more tread than the Hancook and Conti tires in the rear - that's a HUGE difference!
