'07 E63 wagon
Independent M-B mechanics in NY?
Hey all,
I'm new to the M-B world -- picking up my '07 E63 wagon on Saturday (yay!) -- coming from Audis. I had an independent Audi mechanic that did great work (Tyrolsport in Queens, for those in need) and would love to find another non-dealer to be able to maintain my car in the long run. Anyone have good recommendations?

I know the absolute best guy for MB's. Hes been working on my cars forever, hes an MB specialist but he also works on Audis and BMWs.
Hes called "Pitbull Motors" and hes in Freeport, on Long Island.
Heres the link to his website, I would truthfully not take my MB's or Audis anywhere else.

I recently had him put a new clutch in my B7 A4 and I also had him install a alternator (water cooled alternator, might I add) in my CL600, he can do pretty much anything!

Bruce + TTM. Make the drive. I don't know if he does general maintenance, but for speed shop stuff.. He is the guy. Provides tuning and is the supplier of a number of upgrades that hold the current E55 record, and I know he is on track to smash that record soon. Crazy ****, I wish I lived out there. Im sure he is glad I don't.. I bugged him last night in fact

Yeah, after the Feb MIR meet, all hopes of capturing the record will be gone for me. At this point, I think it will become who has the deepest pockets.
My next track visit will be in roughly a month, as our track has officially opened for the season, and I want the car to settle a little after the E85 conversion.
If I can dip into the 10's this time, I will be happy, and having the fastest E55 in the south is good enough for me
