Here's a shot of an E55 muffler sitting next to a CLS55 muffler. Note that the exhaust hanger brackets are lined up, so actual additional length of the CLS55 tips is just over 1". You can also see in the picture that the CLS tips are positioned further towards the center of the vehicle, necessitating triming the valence panel for an optimal fit (if you don't mind the tips sticking out too far).

Could you take a picture of the backend for us to see the muffler tip placement? Sideview preferably.

I agree, the car sounds amazing. Nice choice.

Remove the secondary cats too brotha, and install an H pipe, that will elevate the muscularity and note to the next level.

thanks bro!

I had the resonator deleted and replaced with an x-pipe. As for the clip, I will make one this weekend

I wanted to but I can't find a place who will remove them because its illegal here in CA to remove the secondary cats.

Thanks bro, looks great.

On another note, the pictures close up really show off some of that pearl in the detail of the paint. I'm sure they don't do it full justice but still nonetheless it was a bad *** color choice

I like the steps you have been taking with this car since you got it. Whats next?

Hello,

Very Nice !

Do you think the E55 mufflers CAN be fitted on a CLS 500 ?

The w211 mufflers seem to be bigger (wider) than the CLS One ?

Thanks

yes it can, since all the hangers are lined up from the resonator to the mufflers.
