Truck tire scrap meets front bumper; wins.
So it's night, and I'm commuting home up the Interstate. Of course I'm probably following the pick-up truck ahead of me too closely, and I end up paying the price. I see him brake and swerve, and the next thing I see is a huge piece of truck tire scrap (love those retreads - not) flying out from under the pick-up truck. I can't avoid it and my front bumper cover gets smacked.
Today I got a chance to inspect the damage. The grille over the heat exchanger bent up, cracked bumper cover, two broken grille clips, and the reason for this post - a broken piece of plastic radiator trim that I'm having difficulty locating in the EPC.
In the picture below, note the black plastic air foil that covers the passenger side of the heat exchanger (circled in red). Now note the driver's side. Completely broken off and MIA.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction in the EPC, or better yet, have a part number?

That's terrible! I can't stand it when I can't see around what's in front of me. I usually back off or go around. 63 conversion should do the trick.

I was in a lane that I had to exit from, so going around wasn't an option. Even with a 63 upgrade, I'd still need the black plastic flap to direct the airflow and cover the driver side of the HE. But you're right, it's probably time to start thinking about a facelift for the beast.

Okay, progress.
I'm thinking it's either #160 or #170 in the drawing. Opinions? I'm liking #160, the lower baffle.

never cool to see anything like this happen to anyone nevermind a E55 but a Sunveer 63 front end will do the trick but get you a little closer to a Chawkins panty droppa status!!!

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Truck tire took out my windshield and side window in one swoop in the new '12 Chrysler. But that is why I have it as I care less what happens to the damn thing. $450.00 later..lot to be said when there is no emotional attachment to a car and a Chrysler is the bottom of the emotional list for me.
