right now I just have the 6k fogs and some really blue leds in the running lights with oem low beems.

I can post pics of the fogs but the other stuff is still in the mail.

I went with 6k everything because it looks ricer with 3 different hid colors and we need to match it all up to look clean.

I will post pics of all of them asap for you guys to see but the d2s bulbs should be legit, they are oem and not the 20 dollar 6k bulbs that you can get on ebay.

Dima just texted me and said he just bought the same bulbs last week so maybe he can chime in before me.

Search for DDM in OT... Scammers, avoid them like the plague. They have started new businesses because of how crappy service they have.

Having said that, you guys should be running 5000K bulbs not 6000K. 6000k is about 20% less light output than your OEM 4300K bulbs.

Try VVME.com for bulbs. Yes they are a Chinese manufacturer but my experience with them has been off the wall good. I have bought kits from DDM, onyx, a set I got from the pay it forward thread, and a couple other manufacturers as well as VVME... The only other bulbs I would buy are Philips ultinons but if you can find em they're $100 ish a bulb

I oreded 6k because i want the clean blue look they give.i know there not as bright abd trust me we are not changing bulbs to get a brighter look.i want the 6k look so get what ever you guys want.5k is almost exactly like stock so it would be a downgrade putting in cheap bulbs and taking out the expensive oem bulbs.

I have the philips bulbs in my list above for 99 shipped and 2 bulbs come in the kit

Ah sweet, didn't look at the link. Ultinons are labeled as 6000k but are actually considered a 5800k...

Just hope they're not fake! Although seller seems to be from the states, shipping is taking over a week already.
I love my 6k fogs city and sidemarker leds and time to swap out the 4300low beam. This is the bulbs to do it!

Regarding the high beaams, I would go for light outpout over color any day. A couple years ago I got a set of Osram Nightbreakers from an international seller and they are phenomenal. The amount of light they put out will blind anthing in front of the car. FWIW I also have 6000k's all around and cheap $20 Chinese ones have been working just fine for 2 years.

When did you order? Hes got over 240 sold with 99% positive feedback so I would assume they are real or really good fakes since 200 people have not noticed anything wrong with them.

My fog lights throw a fog light error every once and a while and the guy is sending me another ballast to try, what brand fog hids did you get?and what size is the clear marker on the bumper?

that is the last thing I would need in 6k to complete the whole car

If you want brightness I think our stock 4300k bulbs are the best you can get no?

You also need to remember it has to do with the lens in the lamp. The E55 has a decent lens, but if you want a super crisp cutoff point, wider, and brighter output get the zkw lens or replica. I would switch mine out, but not sure about opening up the headlights.

Just got the Philips in the mail from Vancouver. A little over a week it took. The bulbs definitely look legit!
My sidemarkers and city are 5-6k, fogs have been 6k since e55 bumper. I honestly don't remember haha had so many different bulbs in this thing.

I won't have the low beam in until later next week as I'm leaving Boston tonite to fla. You may get em on first Ang!

http://www.amazon.com/OSRAM-Cool-Blu.../dp/B004W5VW0G

any one tried the Osram Cool Blue Instense? At $125 each so $250 for a pair that is lot of money for bulbs but they put out more lumens than 4300k and are 5000k in color.

Reviews I have seen here and there give them high marks. I have ordered 5000k bulbs from DDM but am really tempted to get the above bulbs.

E55Dimon I am waiting to see your setup as i have already replace all interior/exterior bulbs to LED and need my headlight to match just like you are aiming for.

not really... there are a lot of bulbs not sold in the US(not sure of why) that are brighter than a 4300k... a 5000k should have more light output as well... 5300 or 5800k is where human eye can no longer register the light out put of a bulb

And if they are older bulbs, their light output has decreased noticeably as well.

Has to be easier than what I went through in my M3... the bixenons in that car were terrible... I first gutted the OEM ballasts and went to a 55W kit(this was a PITA itself as I had to rewire the high beam and run new wiring in the headlamp. Eventually I upgraded to FX-R projectors/lenses... it was a HUGE improvement.

My Audi I gutted the OEM halogen projector and swapped in a morimoto mini D2S projector

Nice! Retrofitting better projector's and lens is hard, but definitely worth the hard work. I retro'd my W210 Depo headlights with Acura TL Bi-Xenon's and ZKW replica lens and it was amazing

Any of you guys ever take pics of the final results?

I swapped out my stock yellow-looking DRLs with a set if the AZN Optics LEDs today.... Now the only thing that looks out-of-place is the yellowish fogs.

Post up pics if you've got 'em!
