Car nosedives on 2-3 shift
Ive had this car two weeks and floored it from a stop for the first time today racing a 350z out of a toll booth. I instantly pulled a few car lengths on him but on the 2-3 shift felt like the car slammed into the rev limiter. It completely fell on it's face for about a half a second then came back alive and commenced the asskicking once again.
I have no way of data logging this car to see requested shift points vs rpm, and actual rpm observed vs. indicated and so on..
Is this a tuning issue? Trans hard parts issue? Both mabye as in the TCM not adjusting line pressure to compensate for worn friction material?
I've ran at the track in S and M. And M mode works best for me, as I have heat issues. And I shift at a certain rpm so that the car stays in peak tq. But my car is at the shop now being worked on and then all my cooling mods will be installed. Hopefully this will solve the heat issue, but we still have to fix the shifting problem. I'm getting a TCU tune and a retune from Jerry so maybe he can fix it.

I thought my car was hitting the rev limiter and that's what I was describing to the guys at E.C. but I see now that it is something different.
I didn't notice it at first because I rarely go full throttle. <---- I know those words bring back bad memories. LOL..

Ill let u know as soon as it gets warm out but from memory running my times the car shifted smooth going into 3rd at wot.
The only problem i get with my car is the tc is very sensetive to tire sizes.like when i ran a little taller tire out back the light would blink even if i had full traction
