We were thinking of doing something like that last year. Getting a tour and grabbing something to eat afterwards. We should ask if speeddrvn would be open for visitors. Perhaps after few can bring portable grills. Others pitch in on food and charcoal type a deal.

I would certainly be interested. Palatine is not such a bad drive down from were I live in WI. I would cruise down through lake Zurich area.

BBQ sounds great. In the meantime if people are interested we should get together again sooner as well. The streets have been fairly dry here, so would be good to meet up for lunch / drinks etc

I don't see my SL coming out of its winter slumber for at least another month. I would however join a meet sooner. I would bring down my ML. Those 302 ponies are starting to feel quick after driving it all winter. That is what I love about breaking out the SL after getting used to only 300 HP.

Had a blast at the car show and saw bnzuovr's car, Aleks car, Another silver E55 with realllll dark tints ALL the way around (yes, windshield), a silver C55 with Eurocharged goodies, then a nice C63.
I also ran into Bnzuovr, and man. Let me tell you, what a nice guy! Keeps his car clean enough to eat off of, in and out. BTW, I LOVE the from plate trick you had going on! Overall, there was a LOT of ricers, but the other AMGs made it worthwhile.

Hey man it was nice meeting you to and thanks for the kind words it was meeting and talking to you. Sorry i couldn't talk longer it was to cold and i wasn't feeling to good. Glad you came out and had a good time did you get any good pics of the cars
