Chicago Peeps!!!! "Whens we having a meet & Greet"
Spreading the word on a Schaumburg Cruise Night we're building up again at an long-time restaurant that stopped doing them years ago. New Ownership, New Chef, New Menu. Working hard on bringing the nights back, but we need more help to do it sooner rather than later...especially for those who lack patience like myself, ha.
To get things started, we're offering discounts on our Chef-prepared food and will be roping/coning areas off in the near future in the 150+ spacious parking lot next to a Female Pilates/Yoga place. After we get a solid consistent group, we'll have a DJ as well. We currently have Video Game Racing Tournaments while you wait to eat or after you eat. Those are becoming a hit with the kids (so don't hesitate to bring the families).
Also, the last sunday in August, we will be having a 12th annual charity car show in the afternoon with trophy's and the local Mayor choosing the best in show. More details to come on that one.
Helping spread the word is greatly appreciated. If you stop by, ask for Mike as I enjoy meeting everyone, but it can be tough to know who is who due to the online names. I try to be as accessible as possible on these nights.
Here are some links:
Official Car & Bike Page (Wednesday Nights 6/7pm to 10pm)
Beat the Heat (Hottest Wings in town)
Burger of the Week (Chef creates unique concoctions every week)
Fun & Games (a look at our video game system in the dining room):
Chitownmeets Official Car & Bike Page
Thanks everyone,
Mike

We just started it up a few weeks ago, check out the links above and here is our
It may rain tonight so I'm unsure what the draw will be. Since we just started it up, we need to build the reputation back hence why I'm reaching out as much as possible. So anyone else's help in this is greatly appreciated.
Hope to see some of you around,
Mike

Cars are cool because they are essentially big, strong robots that you can get inside and control. The world is better than you thought with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options at the Autobahn Country Club
$159 for three laps in a luxury supercar on a professional road course on August 23—26 (a $399 value)
$259 for three laps in two luxury supercars on a professional road course on August 23—26 (six total laps; a $798 value)
After taking pictures and pinching themselves to ensure they're awake, patrons get behind the wheel of a luxury supercar such as a Porsche 911 (997), Lamborghini LP560, Audi R8, or Ferrari F430, all of which have automatic transmissions with paddle shifts. Both options begin with a quick, 30-minute instruction on racing fundamentals and safety overviews for the vehicles and the course. After the short class, drivers slap on a helmet, throw on some gloves, and prepare for the turns of the 1.5-mile Autobahn Country Club racetrack.
The second option lets patrons blast through three laps in one car, then strap in behind the wheel of a second car for another trio of go-arounds. Both options take roughly two hours total. An instructor remains in the car to enhance the driving experience, and a professional driver is also available to take passengers around the course.

However, I live in downtown Chicago and that would be a huge detour.
I'd be interested in going, but doubt I could get off work early. If anyone is interested in a Fri, Sat, or Sun run I would definitely be in.
On a side note, what's the name of your restaurant sl65? Next time I head out to Rockford I'd like to check it out.
