The prices posted are MSRP... no doubt there is room for negotiation.

Me too brotha. This wait has been BRUTAL. I will certainly share everything. Seems like this board is just as off topic as ever so my build thread shouldn't been too off pace

And I will never forget my AMG familia.

I just spent some time trying to figure out who Arkym is, and why they want seven grand for a set of one piece wheels. I really like the design, perhaps the recession is over now!

No but they might as well be. If I spend that kind of $$ for wheels, I actually want the HRE logo in the middle, not "Arkym"...

I looked these guys up , grant you I never heard of them but they sure look like they have some good looking wheels .. I dont know where you got the $3500 shipped though ? They have only two dealers in the US , and they wanted to charge me $500 for shipping from Taiwan .. I couldnt believe it !! As for these Arkym at $7K .. I Guess maybe the recession is over and no one told me ! for that kind of money I would have either HRE or Fikse custom make me a set , and would probably still be ahead .

I emailed them directly and they are all in that price range for a 19" set. The concave series are a little more expensive from what I remember.

Judging by the size of the facility they run a pretty serious gig there

Sorry for the threadjack lol

Did you order a set ? How happy are you with htem and how long did they take . Well except for the missing respirator LOL ... the video looks good After having way too many three piece wheels , most from top end companies , I am wondering if a two piece design is a better one

I can't tell you from a personal experience, but a buddy of mine has them on an E39 and their quality looks top notch. Turn around time was quick, under 2 weeks+shipping. I am still doing some research as to what's out there aside from the big name brands. Rotiform has alot of "fresh" wheel designs but since they are a pretty small operation the price and ordering time is up there as well. Lusso forged seems pretty reasonable, they are right at the $1k per wheel mark for 19s. Fikse also has very high quality light wheels made to order.
To the OP, I apologize and understand that it might be the wrong place for discussing the competitors wheels, but I'm hoping people really shop around a little more before shelling out 7+ grand for monoblock wheels because you ARE overpaying.
