URGENT: NHTSA Opens investigation into fuel leaks on the E55.
I suggested it back on Post #411....

It seems to me that an epoxy-reinforced stock part could be a valid, permanent repair. If there was an off-the-shelf MBZ part that actually worked I think we'd know about it by now.
The Airtex option seems promising as well....definitely want to get some feedback on that once somebody tries it.

I have had comments removed on FB. They are watching what's on their site. If we keep complaining maybe word will travel up the chain of command and if this bug keeps crawling up the right persons leg maybe they'll finally do something about it.

My driver's side needs to be replaced...I wish Airtex made a replacement for that side.

OEM version will always have an expiration date, IMO...lolz.
EDIT: What is the difference between senders? I see 211 470 45 94 is also a sender. 211 470 45 94 vs 211 470 50 94?

The part number tables are here. You can see the progression of parts that were used for each item in attempts to improve/fix it by MBZ, but at this point even the most recent replacement parts still leak...
