Quick question about the crash bolts

Where exactly do they get installed? Control arm to front subframe? Steering knuckle to control arm? Also, are 1 or 2 used per side?

P.S. A0003300018 are the right bolts, correct? I believe I found that number in another thread.

To my credit, I did spend some time with the search function before posting, so hopefully I didn't miss this info.

The castor & camber fluted 3 way bolts consist of 2 in the caster or thrust arm bushes & 2 in the camber bushes.

2 per side. Let me know if you need a set since I have spares.

Remember to tighten the bolts with the suspension loaded or you can herniate the bushes. Remember to hold static bolt while tightening nut so as not to damage bush insert.

KMAC bushings and toe links will provide a significant handling improvement.

The KMAC eccentric kit is a nice concept if you want to take suspension out of spec & dial in extra negative camber etc. If you want a standard set up they are no good because the eccentrics move the attachment points in multiple plains.

How many degrees of camber will it help with my car, say it is at -2.5 degrees camber right now in the front.

For a street car ??? What are you trying to do - make the car look good, setup for autox, or handle better at high speeds ? Remember if you put too much negative camber, your tire wear will be awful, plus on a street car I doubt you would notice any gains or benefits. I always recommend you keep the alignment within the factory specifications.

Yes, but if you choose to do so, you can still set the parameters to factory specs. Regardless, the polyurethane KMAC bushings do provide for a noticeable reduction in suspension wiggle.

I have the KMac bushings on my car, and although they where a b1tch to set up, once dialed in and proper alignment performed, they allow to compensate for a slight drop, keep the suspension and alignment in spec and provide a much better, tighter feel, with less lateral wiggle.

I personally spend some time and money on the drive train, lighter and wider wheels, lighter rotors, LSD, STAR drop and KMac bushing with a proper, factory spec alignment, and the car handling is transformed...
