2005 E55 Wagon
More "open" grill

I recently got a CAI kit for my wagon and was curious if a more "open" grill might help with more air into the CAI, radiator and engine overall to better cool it. Out here in the southwest, it rarely rains so not worried about hydro lock. I didn't find a grill that I liked or that I liked that would fit my car. I found an OEM grill at a cheap price and decided to mod it and take out some of the grills. What do you think?

Thanks. From a far, the grill looks good. But, when you get up close, you can still see some rough spots where I need to sand more, fill in more and paint again. I am hoping to do that this weekend and then I can post close ups.

The S/C whine is not noticed by me......b/c I am running glass packs in place of OEM mufflers.
