Head lights
Hey guys I just noticed one of my head lights is a purpleish color and the other one is more of a clear color. What's up with that?

Beam and actual light color when they light up. When they are lit up, one looks purple and one looks clear...

just in time for my diy post lol

You can get a pair of phillips 6k bulbs for 99 shipped on ebay,direct fit and you should change out both bulbs anyway since they fade over the years and a new oem bulb will look a little off from the old one.

Mine did the same thing a few months ago. All you have to do is replace the bulbs.

they got old... go out and buy a set of 8k bulbs then you are set. get some led for parking light while u r at it !.

I got 6,000K and love the color but Then again almost every bulb company has a different kelvin temperature and a different burn color. I would reccomend the Philips ultinon d2s 6000K. They are supposedly the greatest bulb by a long shot. They are pretty expensive but from the reviews I have read, they are worth it. Those will be my next bulbs. I have been tetering on the edge of buying them anyways but I need to wait till mine burn out haha. The bulbs in the pic i posted is with 6000K bulbs off ebay.

6000k is perfect. 8000k looks to ricer ish. I just recently put my stock bulbs back in and MAN so much more light on the road than the 6000k... but the color looks lol
