Chebby LS motors are the shiz. That is one hell of a motor that will probably never be out done.

If my motor ever let go, I would part out what it left of it plus the tranny, and go the terminator motor route with a 4R70W built tranny with a monster stall, have a custom CF driveshaft made, and run a stand alone ECU

I'm strangely hoping for your motor to blow now....

That would shorten the curve and get you there quick!

Plus, it would sound amazing.

I did now. You realize there is a precipitous drop off in tech savviness for people over 1/2 century in age. That is why it is important to respect your elders.

New to forum so apologize in advance.

2005 E55, 56000 Miles
KN Filters
EC 180mm pulley
EC Heat Exchanger
Johnson IC Pump
EU Tune
~400 miles since Jerry did the above.

3/15/2012
New Motor & Transmission Mounts
New control arm bushings

Jerry Dyno is down since he is setting up new shop so the car is running a dumbed down tune until Jerry can dyno the car. With that said, the S1 made quite a difference.

I am going to Houston Motorsports Park soon and will post times.

What size Mickey Thompsons are you running and are they on stock wheels? Thanks in advance.

EC tune, PLM shorties, S55 snorkel, stock TB grind, no filters, stock wheels an street tires.

I want to figure out what is going on top end. I think it was about 60 degrees out when I ran these. Trapping 95 in the 1/8th but only getting 1/4 traps of 116. Had a high trap of 118 same night.

Waiting for the cold weather to come back just replaced my pump and thinking about replacing the H/E.

Nice run

I recently hit the track, my 1/8 mile was 95mph and my trap was 120 (11.54et). Yours was 5mph slower @ the 1/8 and you got a higher trap! Weird

^ Yeah, that is weird. I have noticed that I had a higher trap and slower ET than a lot of people. We share the same engine, but different trannys. I wonder if gearing has something to do with it?
