Man, I need to get some drag radials. My best trap in the 1/8th mile is 94mph, but I am in the high 7's on street tires. In my defense, it's a pretty garbage track in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. My best 60' is like a 2.03 or something.

I believe the tune accounts for a large portion of the track times. I had a tune from Jeremy that the car was great with but the custom tune for the injectors and TB sucked. I fouled plugs out it was so rich at part throttle driving. Not trash talking him but just saying the tuners a major part of the puzzle.

You car seems too fast to be that slow... If that makes any sense...must be the 60...

Well 19s aren't exactly made for going fast, smaller wheels would help especially if lighter and obviously drag radials would get me a better 60ft and at minimum improve the time by 2 tenths and probably improve the time by 3 or 4 tenths in the same weather. Then better weather with a DA closer to or under sea level would also help improve trap and time. I am sure the car would run 11.3-4 with some drag radials and decent weather without question.
With the 180 pulley weather will make or break you, at least in my car. On a hot day the car loses major performance, I can feel it go flat up around 100mph when I am sure the intake temps are getting up there and it is dumping fuel and/or pulling timing.

Mine did too! Same feeling. I added extra cooling to fix that problem!

Here was my best run and something happened in 3rd gear and the car went into limp mode.I thought for sure mid track I was going to get into the 10s but the car was fighting its self with the traction control from the tires I was running.

11.8@119mph with a 1.8 60ft. This was at 100% full street weight, regular 19" street tires and pump gas 93 ( no ethanol ) and a DA of over 2000ft. Maybe this monday I can give it a shot with better weather ( it's been in the low 80's as of lately which is cold for us ) and my new Pirelli Corsa's...

Something was definately going on. Only 23 mph on the back half. After all that hard work, you got to get that 10 second skip!

I'll play
11.87@119 with a 1.82 60'
Stock wheels and street tires
My one and only (so far) sub 11 sec run...turns 12.0's all day long
Renntech 178 pulley, Heyvron shorty headers with both cats, k&n's, split cooling with tiny under hood res, plm HE w cm-30 and Jeremy tune.
BTW, do drag radials improve trap speed or just et's???
