Dry Ice & Ice Experiment
I have been thinking about this for a while now so I thought I'd do an experiment. I started with your average 10qt pot and 176 ounces of warm water at 110 degrees.
I put in 4oz of dry ice and after 10min the went down 10degrees.
I then put in 44oz of ice from the fridge in the pot and after 10min the temp went down 20 degrees.
I then put in 8oz of dry ice & another 44oz of ice and after 15min the temp went down another 30 degrees.
So in 35min the temp went down 60 degrees.
So im thinking while you are icing down the SC you can drop your tank temp quite a bit between runs. If you keep at you can probably get it down do 40 degrees in 45min.

In a drag boat I race. I have an ice tube in the fuel cell. I use dry ice in the tube to cool the fuel between runs.
Can you cycle water through the system between rounds? If you can I'd use dry ice and a lot of it.

Lots of drag racers that run air to water intercoolers are stuffing ice into the reservoirs between rounds. Works great but you eat through ice quickly on a hot day.

I use a ice box in the lightning when racing which can actually save your motor high aircharge can kill the sparkplugs. I think i was seeing around 125deg air charge at the end of the run.

In motocross the top factory teams have fuel chillers to get the fuel very cold to help get that tiny bit of extra fuel in and also cold fuel makes more power and is less likely to boil in the tank. I did my own experiment a few weeks ago with dry ice so I will let you know how it turned out. The last time at the track I went thru 140lbs of ice.

One of my empoyee's that use to SCCA race his STI use to put it in his fuel inside of a 5 gallon container and once they got the temp where they wanted they would put it in the car

Back in the day you could use freon-12, was great for cooling things down. Or if you had some iminagitation you could still use a dewer of liquid nitrogen (-320 deg f) into a heat exchanger.
