It could be worse, I just filled up my rental car a few days ago. 69 Euro for 40 liters, there are 3.8 liters in a gallon so 10.5 gallons for 69 Euro and a Euro is worth $1.31, so it cost $90 for 10.5 gallons of fuel. Now that is insane (company credit card paid for that though)!! On another note, I guess it is going to blow filling my car up when I get back home with prices so high in the U.S.. I remember when I used to buy Sunoco GT100 from the pump at a gas station when I was in college for $4/gallon.

$4.61 at a downtown Chicago station tonight for 93. Not much cheaper anywhere around the city.
My diesel dually still gets me the most miles per dollar of all my vehicles. Crazy stuff. lol $3.99 for a gallon of diesel and it has more power per gallon than gasoline. Hopefully it doesn't skyrocket soon.

Where I live we pay 8.88$ per US gallon. 
1.48£ per litre (or 0.264 gallon) for Shell Optimax which is 98 RON and rougly equivalent to 93 US (RON+MON/2).
£$ is around 1.585 -> $2.345 per litre
3.786 litre per US Gallon...
and viola $8.88 / gallon
You guys dont know how good you have it..... seriously.
