Hi I wanted to get aftermarket warranty for my e55 and I shopped around and found NAC and fiedelity.. NAC was 3yr 36k for $3500 and for fiedelity was 3yr 36k for $4000. Is that fair price? also they require pre inspeciton.

Those prices are just about right. For 2 years 20,000 miles and a $150 deductable, I got mine for about 3k. Check on what they cover exactly with AMG's, some warranties wont cover airmatic failures and other weird issues. Look into each of them before purchasing.

If you belong to a Credit Union, ask them if they sell extended warranties. I asked mine and bought the NAC Pinnacle from them, 4 years/50k, $50 ded, 2005 E55, 40800 on the car, @$2100.
If not, contact Bruce at Becks Imports (he posts here) as he sells quite a bit of them. I have had both on my E55 and with NAC, they have a set amount they will pay for parts. If you want, you will pay the difference. If not, I'm told NAC will ship the part to your mechanic so you will need to wait for it to arrive.

+1 on contacting Bruce .. I highly recommend Fidelity Platinum .. the covered my V12 Twin Turbo , and came through beautifully, for me it was worth every penny

Hey, I just picked up a 2006 SL65 and have been trying to contact Bruce regarding an aftermarket warranty. Sent an email and a pm, but haven't heard back yet. I'll let you know how I make out after I do.
