Well, after a long and torturous wait, my car has finally arrived!! Suffice to say, it is absolutely incredible. I haven't even begun to push it (being a good boy and breaking it in - boy is it hard to keep from flooring it) and I am still blown away. People who have said that it doesn't sounds as good as the SL55... I've never heard the SL55 in person, but god this car sounds intoxicating (and i've only had it up to 4200 est. rpm!). My digicam has crapped out on my, but I have ordered a new camera and will have loads of pics up ASAP! Vids to come as soon as its broken in! I've got quite a few friends who want a piece of it (they all know they'll lose, but it will be good to get it on tape )! I'll give a full review of the car once I have the chance to really drive it to its potential.

Impressions so far:
It looks absolutely stunning, fantastic, incredible etc... Obsidian Black on Charcoal great looking combo. Brakes are fantastic, and in person, if you take a look at them and think about it... they're gigantic (the term bread-loaf comes to mind when describing the size of the calipers!) Wheels are excellent, the car looks AWESOME from all angles! Quad exhaust is even hotter to look at in person! The interior is chock full of top notch materials, the headliner is a really nice touch and the seats are really supportive. I love this car!!!

I am glad that you were able to get a dealer who could deliver. Sorry about my "help". I am jealous, but will be OK with my wait unless I start seeing too many on the streets in Houston. Good luck and keep us all updated. I do think you should post something in your neighborhood to let people with slower model sportscars know that they should stay indoors.

Congrats. I know what you mean about the first 1,000 miles. I was a good boy during break in. Have 1,800 miles on it now, and boy is it fun!

I am glad you are enjoying your car David. It is a beauty, and I know the pics don't really do it justice. I hope our detailer got all of the drool off of it from all the attention it got when it was here.
