For those wanting to remove items or service the MOST fiber optic system...

I removed my CD changer and my audio system stopped working. I was told that it was because the fiber optic system ( MOST ) needed to be in a closed loop and by unplugging the CD changer I left it in open loop. So I removed the two optic fibers from the plug ( very simple to do ) and used a small piece of vacuum tubing to shove both fibers, one on each end, until they met each other. Works 100% perfect now.
I just wanted to post this up in case anyone ever ran into the same issue I did.

.If you happen to drop a call while driving the car it will give you a good place to look!
When I had an Alpine 7949 with fiber optic changer and DSP processor, it would really cut the sound out of the cable was disturbed without the good connections. But perhaps the MOST system is not has picky.
