THU WHEEELS ON THE BUS....HENCE YELLOW E55 GOT UPGRADED, WHAT YOU DO YOU GUYS THINK?
Just installed OEM CL/SL 65 19" wheels with Brigestone RE050 tires on the Yellow E55 wagon. Had to use Eibach center hub centric 10mm front and 15mm spacers to make then fit properly. Lowered the front and rear about 1/2 inch via SDS and tinted the windows. Love it or hate it, it is definately unique. Will be the fastest short bus around LOL!

I called MB and they replied that they believe this is the only factory ordered yellow wagon ever in 06. The factory interior stitching is also yellow and matches the exterior of the car. This was also done at the factory and is a U.S. spec vehicle.

Very nice job on the mods. What is the fancy name MB came up with for the yellow color? Unique is the word for sure. Cool to have the only one for that year. Enjoy.

It is called Sunburst Yellow on the VMI from Mercedes. On the original window sticker it is listed as a Designo color but there is not a dollar amount listed as an "upgraded color." If you guys recall a few older Slk designo models came from the factory the same color.
