If your SC is slinging grease, you are going to need new a new SC bearing at a minimum.

Also, your Air Intake Temp and the readout in your instrument cluster are two different things. The one in your instrument cluster is related to engine temp and the AIT is related to supercharger temp. Your car temp can be 90 while the AIT is 150.

Sounds like you should address the funcionality of your SC and your HE pump.

I see. I'll checkout my SC then and get a new HE. Are the best bearings out there the Nachi ones?

E55 amg k4 and evo6 & Audi a4 b8
Updated bosh

Hey I was experiencing the same problem. I bout the evo sport cooling package and had it installed .the car worked fine for 2 months after which same problem sent the car to mb and found the hoses were leaking and so was the pump... Rubbish system and very poor quality. After I decided to go for the updated bosh pump . So far so good but this has been a super expensive journey . -2600 dollars for evo sport kit which I removed and 1700 for mb to change pump and new hoses as they all were clogged up...

They are 210 HP. Are you sure your car was in gear? ;-)
I'd say something is wrong for sure!

Before i changed the pump, i ran a 2010 Audi S4. And it SPANKED me. Thats when i realized that their had to be issues with my car. Should that car beat us? I doubt it.
Get a data logger. There is no telling what you're OC pump is running at with out that!

Are you judging your cooling by the water temp gauge in the cluster? If so, that's a poor idea.

Thanks guys. No I am not judging it by the cluster, it just seems wweird to me that it runs so hot. When I bought the car, I did not feel that 468hp. so i bgan to search in here and ended up changing the I/C pump. After, i noticed a difference and the engine was running cooler, one or two tabs above 80c. Last night I hard wired the pump to run constant and i also blead the system, which I did not do when I changed the pump. After i was done, I took the car out for some runs and it felt like a damn cow! worse than before. So did I do something wrong or something? I wired the pump to a red wire behind the fuse box. Has anyone experianed this?

The intercooler pump is most easily accessed from under the passenger side front of the engine... almost near the fog light area if my memory serves me correctly... Is this the pump you changed??

2005 Mercedes E55 AMG
Question guys:
My car (2005 E55) started making this whining noise that sounds like a mustang super charger. It only does this when I accelerate. Then the car would no move at all but the motor was still running. After I turned the car off and then back on it would move but only did so slowly. I noticed that as long as I gave it a little gas the gears would shift slowly. Is this a transmission issue or maybe something else? Someone in the forum said it may be IAT related.

You probably should have started a new thread to get more views, but it sounds like the transmission to me.

I had similar symptoms and since the car was new to me at the time, I thought it was the supercharger getting loud. It ended up being the transmission. The trans oil pump bearing failed, overheated the pump and then overheated the trans.

Look for signs of leaking trans fluid on the belly pans near the motor mounts.

I wouldn't drive it and definitely have it looked at by a shop.

Good luck.
