I wish my car could do what yours does and even in dyno mode I have had the car go into limp mode and throw a wrong ratio wheel code.
Here your describing my issues ecactly, if your running what's in your sig & Stock size up front this is your problem.. Appears you have 5.3% Difference bet rear & fronts, unless you're running same size up front

I had issues with the taller tires but im running stock sizes now to keep the traction system happy.

My car wont shift at all on its own in m mode,it will bounce off the rev limiter.im going to the dealer tom and telling them to flash my tcu to latest firmware.

If you left it as is, ECU hates dif DIA tires/wheels frnt to rr... It may adjust w/time on it's own after a load of driving w/new = sized wheels

Pretty sure he was running a 245/40/18 up front not a 35 series front tire.

His set up was 245/40/18 and 265/40/18 so only a 2.4 % difference

Tire calcs say anything over 1-2% will cause problems, 2.4% will cause it to freak

Just throwing an idea into the pot... but could maybe be a function of SBC stepping in sensing the front wheels aren't moving after a few seconds, then braking the rear wheels for some reason? Those that have successful burnouts longer than 2 seconds, are you staying completely still, or is it a slow roll like in the video cwmateiuc posted on pg1? Like someone said, i think there are multiple issues being discussed.

2003 E55 K1
I have an '03 and cannot do burnouts. Car loses traction and ESP pulls power. Even when rolling, except on hottest days, engine will pull power as ESP starts to flash. Very annoying. The strange thing is, before installing K1,car would spin tires nicely from the dig without bogging the engine. It seems like the increase in power from the K1 mod, which is up quite a bit, is causing ESP to pull power.
