E55 will not do a burn-out.

I have an '06 E55 that will NOT do a burnout.. I'm so confused.

I can spin tires no problem, but when I try to warm the tires up, it won't let me and just pushes the front wheels.

I've done many burnouts in the car before, one of them being in my sig at the track!!
I was even able to "drift" my car through an entire parking lot without any issues.

Now all of a sudden, I can't do one at all lol.

And yes, ESP is off.

Even though ESP is off, the traction control isnt "all the way" off. Put your car into dynomode, search here or youtube, and then try again.

I've done dyno mode before... But the car should still be able to do a burnout.

i've done many before with no issues.

Put it in manual make sure you select 1st then stomp the throttle to get them spinning, they should roast right up.

My 05 has the same problem.put car in m1 and brake with left foot and slam the throttle and it will spin for a second and bog and kill throttle.

I can do a burn out all the way down my street with my brothers 04 e55 when he had it.

Its the late 05s and all 06s that have this problem and my car is very picky on tire sizes also

I can roast them through intersections no problem... Just won't let me do a burnout for some reason.. weird.

You HAVE to put the 06's in dyno mode for a full complete burnout. The tranny cuts power and it goes into limp mode. The cars manual even says not to power brake for fear of damage to the transmission.

I have an 06 now and there is no way around it. My 04 never had that problem either.

Guys, he is saying that his car used to do it and now it doesn't. There is obviously something wrong. Does the car accelerate normally?

I don't understand this comment though...

I can spin tires no problem, but when I try to warm the tires up, it won't let me and just pushes the front wheels.
Can you, or can't you do a burn out?

I've got an 05 some days I can sit there and roast my tires no problems it seems like and others I've had it bog and kill the burnout.
