102mm TB?

Anyone ever try to fit a 102mm throttle body on the E55?

I see Corvettes with throttle bodies that big... Has anyone ever attempted this?

I think a 90mm would be big enough

An awful lot of fab work went into making a 90 fit. I really doubt you can go much bigger; but hey, there were probably members a few years ago that said the same of the 90.

Good luck! The 90mm barely fit in between the surge tanks. The 102 may work but it would take some serious work and creativity.

What if you turned it 90degrees? Would that help?

The whole point of the bigger TB is to increase flow, that 90 will kill flow since it's going to have such short radius

I can't see how the nick williams or Fast 102's would work the motor assembly is in-line with the throttle plate, so I can't see a way to fit it. I would say not possible period

Looks like what it increases in size, it makes up for in other parts..
