No dyno...buy the kit, once the cable gets to your house, call EC & set a time up...follow their instructions regarding how to setup your laptop....15 minutes after EC remotely takes control of your laptop, your doing smokey burnouts. thats it.

its just that my friends told me that tune without a dyno will not give you the maximum output.
thanks

I didn't realize a remote tune was possible! I've email Eurocharged inquiring about costs, compatibility and scheduling.

After owning ALOT of fast cars, I can tell you if every bit of every 1/10 of a second is your goal then spend 3x's the amount for the custom tune & dyno....But I can almost guarantee you'll never be able to tell the difference seat of the pants or on the street....your talking like someone who is trying to shave every last 1/10th off their 1/4 mile time.

Your friend is right, however, you can do it both ways.

Have it done on a dyno and know that it is done right the first time.

the dyno tune just gives you 'real time' programming capabilities - the box tune that they do down the wire works great, and they've tested it on a dyno to ensure it's pretty safe and stays within the bounds of what mods you have on your car...

Jeremy from OE Tuning also does remote tuning.

Dyno tune or datalog your car with a wideband at minimum and send the logs to your tuner of choice.

Do you have info on the process of remote tuning through OE Tuning? I wasn't able to find any info on their Web site. Curious if a OBDII-USB cable is utilized?
